Cloud Architect Consultant Manchester / Bristol / London – Hybrid Working £45,000 - £85,000 Bonus & Benefits SC or UKSV DV Clearance Required (or full eligibility) Permanent Role JOIN A CUTTING-EDGE CLOUD & DEFENCE CONSULTANCY I am working with a forward-thinking, mission-driven tech consultancy supporting transformation programmes across the national security and defence space. With a growing portfolio of cloud-centric projects, they’re now looking to expand their team with a Cloud Architect who’s passionate about secure infrastructure, emerging cloud platforms (especially OCI), and enterprise-scale transformation. THE OPPORTUNITY: Shape and deliver cloud-native architecture using OCI, Azure or AWS Work in secure, hybrid cloud environments for defence and public sector programmes Be part of a multi-disciplinary team modernising infrastructure at national scale Grow your skills in infrastructure-as-code, DevSecOps, and hybrid cloud strategies Develop your career in a business committed to investing in its people CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: You’ll design and support secure cloud environments that underpin complex digital platforms. Your work will involve: Delivering secure, scalable cloud architecture solutions across OCI / Azure / AWS Designing infrastructure aligned to agile and DevSecOps principles Supporting end-to-end delivery from strategy to operational deployment Collaborating with engineering teams to embed best-in-class cloud operations Providing technical documentation and contributing to secure platform design DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE : Solid experience with cloud services – OCI preferred, but Azure or AWS also welcome Background in infrastructure or platform engineering, architecture or DevOps Hands-on knowledge of containerisation (e.g., Kubernetes / Docker / OpenShift) Experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, automation tooling Understanding of platform security, IAM, RBAC, and cloud governance Agile/DevSecOps environment experience a plus Must hold active SC or DV Clearance, or be fully UKSV DV eligible (sole British nationals only) TO BE CONSIDERED: Apply via this advert or reach out directly at luke.parry@searchability.com for more details.
