Technical Business Analyst

This is a multi-faceted role that blends project management, business analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and hands-on involvement to ensure the successful delivery of impactful solutions. Key Responsibilities: Business Analysis: Partner with stakeholders and development teams to gather, refine, and translate business needs into practical technical solutions. Project Ownership: Lead software projects through their full lifecycle—from planning and design to implementation, testing, and ongoing support. Stakeholder Management: Act as the key liaison between technical teams and business units, managing expectations and delivering regular progress updates. Planning & Risk Management: Create structured project plans, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure delivery remains on time and within budget. Active Delivery Involvement: Contribute to solution design, testing coordination, user training, and producing supporting documentation. Ongoing Support: Ensure that delivered solutions provide lasting business value and ongoing support is in place. Technical Insight: Build deep knowledge of platforms and tools to support decision-making and issue resolution. Essential Skills Required: Demonstrated experience managing full lifecycle software development projects. Strong skills in business analysis, including requirements gathering and documentation. Financial acumen for budgeting, estimation, and monitoring project costs. A sound technical background with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders. Ability to report clearly on project status, risks, and issues to senior leadership. Capability to deconstruct complex challenges into manageable workstreams. Familiarity with project and service delivery frameworks such as Prince2, MSP, ITIL, and tools like JIRA. Personal Attributes: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
