Position: Software Evangelist and Assistant Product Manager Product: SAF-FORESIGHT (Range Safety and Planning Software) Location: Hybrid (with regular travel across the UK and Europe) Employment Type: Full-time Experience Level: Mid-level (4–6 years minimum) Responsibilities We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team in a dynamic and multi-faceted role combining software evangelism, product development support, and customer engagement. This position plays a central role in expanding the impact of SAF-FORESIGHT, our advanced digitised range safety and planning software, across the UK and Europe. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between our customers, development team, and broader market—supporting the evolution of our product while enhancing user adoption and satisfaction. Qualifications Key Requirements (essential) In-depth knowledge of UK Range Safety doctrine and operational practice . Background in defence training, range management, or live fire doctrine and policy . Exceptional written and verbal communication skills . Proven ability to communicate technical content to diverse audiences. Flexible and self-directed , with a willingness to learn and adopt new technologies. Willingness to travel regularly across the UK and Europe . Current or Eligible to be granted a Security Check (SC) Right to work in UK. Desirable Attributes Experience with computer-based virtual simulation systems , ideally in a training or operational context. Experience in software product development or user experience design. Prior involvement in customer training, technical writing, or user community engagement. Familiarity with marketing or public communications in a technical domain.
