A Senior DevOps / Lead DevOps position for a software product business offering SaaS services to customers globally. This is great opportunity for an experienced DevOps Engineer / Platform Engineer who is keen to remain hands-on but take on lead or mentoring responsibilities. The DevOps Engineer joins an experienced Azure Cloud product team and will focus on improving DevOps adoption and deployments on their Azure-based platform. This is a pivotal role working closely with software engineers and the senior leadership team, owning the DevOps processes internally. Responsibilities: Lead the DevOps function, utilising the Azure platform for deployments Work closely with the senior leaders to plan and implement effective DevOps processes Mentor a mid-level DevOps Engineer Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Essential experience: Commercial DevOps experience in an Azure environment working closely with software teams Excellent communicator, able to communicate with all levels of a business Strong Azure knowledge and experience – AKS, Azure Functions, Azure Services, etc Infrastructure as Code: Bicep, ARM or similar Scripting experience with PowerShell or similar – JavaScript or C# is desirable Their offices in Hampshire are commutable from Southampton, Bournemouth, Basingstoke, areas with flexible hybrid working.
