Staffline Recruitment Ireland are delighted to be partnering with our client, a global tech company, in the search for an experienced Senior Cloud Solution Architect. Role: Senior Cloud Solution Architect (Azure & AWS) Location: Belfast (Travel to RoI as needed) Setup: Hybrid Sponsorship not provided for this opportunity. The Role: You will lead the development of cloud architecture strategy, modernise internal systems, and build a more efficient, secure, and scalable platform. This role requires strong expertise in DevOps, cloud-native architecture, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the platform supports data-driven innovation and operational excellence. Responsibilities: Serve as a subject matter expert in cloud-native technologies with a strong DevOps and automation focus Design and build cloud-native applications using containers, microservices, APIs, and orchestration tools Lead workshops, design reviews, and contribute to pre-sales and project delivery (POC/POT) Produce high-quality technical documentation and architecture artifacts Implement scalable, efficient solutions on Azure Develop reusable, maintainable code optimized for cloud environments Apply agile methodologies and support CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and observability practices Diagnose and resolve issues across development, staging, and production environment What You'll Bring: Deep experience in software engineering or cloud architecture, with a strong track record of designing enterprise-grade platforms Expertise in cloud technologies (AWS or Azure) and a history of delivering scalable, resilient infrastructure solutions Demonstrated success leading cross-functional architectural initiatives in dynamic, agile environments Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation, infrastructure as code, and observability tools Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical audiences Proven experience mentoring engineering teams and shaping platform direction through strategic and hands-on leadership Bonus: Familiarity with data governance practices, real-time analytics systems, or AI/ML integration Please reach out to Ellen at Staffline for more details.
