Senior Product Security Engineer - Up to £250,000 We are working with one of the top buy side firms in the city who are a leader in blending modern technology with the most performant financial systems, revolutionising themselves to become a key player in London. Currently, they are undertaking an extremely strategic greenfield remit of work that involves building out several brand-new projects with a focus on security and scalability. This role focuses on the safety of diverse systems across cloud, business applications, and core infrastructure. You will lead automated security processes, influence architecture, and oversee key security initiatives. The position involves close collaboration with teams spanning IT, cloud, and engineering. You will ensure protection across high-speed environments within a unique environment in the hedge fund world (2 days WFH). In addition to hands-on security implementation, you would be integral in secure software development lifecycle practices, working across the wider tech stack of Python, C++, and Kotlin/Java. They are my top paying client so we would be able to guarantee an uptick! Requirements At least 7 years of experience in product security or similar roles with significant practical experience in securing software development at scale. Proven record of development experience in development languages such as Python, C++, Rust, Go and Kotlin/Java. Strong technical background in software development, system architecture and security tools. Strong understanding of security principles, techniques and technologies related to software and product security, cloud platforms and business applications.
