Working with a leading IT Consultancy who are looking for a Product Owner who thrives in agile environments and is confident leading teams to deliver user-centric digital solutions. This is a client-facing role that requires strategic thinking, clear communication, and the ability to balance technical and business priorities. Salary - up to £55,000 per annum Remote with occasional travel Candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance (Been in the UK for the past 5 years with no more than 28 days out the country) No sponsorship will be provided for these roles. Candidates must have Government Digital Services (GDS) experience Key Responsibilities: Define and maintain the product vision, ensuring alignment with client goals and user needs throughout the delivery cycle. Own and manage the product backlog, working closely with business analysts to refine user stories and ensure that development efforts focus on high-value outcomes. Serve as the main point of contact during agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and review sessions, clearly communicating priorities and demonstrating results. Collaborate within cross-disciplinary teams that may include developers, analysts, designers, and stakeholders, offering support across roles where needed. Contribute to shaping product strategy and act as a decision-maker on product direction, balancing user needs with feasibility and timelines. Your Background: We’re seeking individuals who bring a mix of leadership, user-focused thinking, and agile experience: Proven experience contributing to product or service delivery projects that place users at the heart of the process. Understanding of agile methodologies, with a hands-on approach to iterative development and rapid delivery. Experience applying digital service standards (e.g., GDS) is beneficial. Comfortable collaborating across disciplines and stepping into roles like Business Analyst, Service Designer, or Scrum Master when needed. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to lead client discussions and demonstrate value effectively. Familiar with product ownership frameworks and ideally holding relevant certifications (e.g., PSPO, PSM).
