Commercial Project Manager

Commercial Manager/Commercial Project Manager - Permanent - Eastleigh - Hybrid PURPOSE: Lead critical Commercial Excellence projects across the the company, ensuring successful execution aligned with business goals. Oversee complex operational projects from initiation to completion, delivering on time, within budget, and to high quality, while fostering strong cross-functional relationships. Project portfolio includes Go-to-Market strategies, Key Account Models, and market expansion. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage a portfolio of complex Commercial Excellence initiatives. Provide on-site leadership, motivating project teams to meet goals. Own full project lifecycle (initiation to deployment) for multiple initiatives. Report on project success criteria, metrics, and deployment activities. Apply creative problem-solving, teamwork, innovation, and excellence. Contribute to project management practices, templates, and tools. Prepare project estimates and detailed plans. Procure and manage resources within planned timeframes. Manage daily project activities and resources. Report on project milestones, risks, and issues. Understand technology, operations, and business interdependencies. Manage quality control and issue resolution. Assist in dispute resolution as needed. Support contract management schedules. Delegate tasks and responsibilities. Coach, mentor, and supervise project teams. Communicate effectively with stakeholders. Maintain professional development in relevant areas. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Extensive experience leading Commercial Excellence projects. Proven experience managing complex commercial projects (finance, sales, service, quote-to-cash, manufacturing) involving technology and process change. Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Excellent leadership and team management skills (including geographically dispersed teams). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders. Relevant certifications (PMP/PRINCE2) and agile experience advantageous. Track record in successful transformation and change initiatives. Experience collaborating with marketing teams. Experience in process re-engineering and LEAN in a commercial setting. Willingness for national and international travel.
