Senior Consultant – Professional Services (Fuel Pricing or Logistics) I am searching for a Senior Consultant for my client, a global leader in enterprise software powering the fuel, logistics, and retail convenience sector. Operating in over 50 countries and trusted by brands like Shell, BP, Chevron and 7-Eleven, the business is on a mission to transform forecourt and wholesale operations across the world. This role is part of the Professional Services team, with a strong focus on helping clients adopt and scale PDI’s enterprise platforms. You’ll be responsible for leading software delivery engagements across fuel pricing or logistics, depending on your domain background with the opportunity to shape best practices, mentor junior consultants, and influence product thinking. What You’ll Be Doing Act as the lead functional consultant across high-value, multi-site software implementations Run detailed discovery workshops , capture requirements, and translate into product configurations Provide integration guidance , collaborating with internal tech teams and client IT stakeholders Contribute to solution architecture , testing strategies, and go-live planning Mentor junior consultants and provide peer-level guidance across active projects Identify opportunities to enhance delivery frameworks and influence broader product capability Own delivery quality, client satisfaction, and stakeholder engagement throughout the lifecycle What We’re Looking For 5 years’ experience in software consulting, enterprise solution delivery, or SaaS implementation Strong understanding of functional configuration and best-practice deployment Exposure to logistics, pricing, POS, or ERP systems (fuel industry experience a bonus, not a must) Able to confidently lead workshops, manage client stakeholders, and work across technical/non-technical teams Familiarity with integration flows, APIs, XML/JSON , and modern enterprise toolsets Naturally proactive, commercially aware, and capable of handling project ambiguity Why This Role Stands Out Lead strategic implementations for major global clients Join a collaborative, delivery-focused team with strong internal mobility Professional Services is seen as a launchpad into Product and Engineering Projects are global in scope – occasional travel to EMEA, LATAM, and beyond Offices in Maidenhead (3 days/week) with hybrid flexibility Play a key role in a stable, well-funded business entering its next growth phase If you’re a driven, business-minded consultant who enjoys bringing complex solutions to life — and wants a platform to evolve into SME or strategic leadership roles — this is your next step.
