Skills and Responsibilities: •Plan, coordinate, and execute software releases across multiple environments and projects. •Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible and Shell to streamline deployment, rollback, and monitoring activities. •Lead cross-functional release planning meetings involving developers, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders. •Own and continuously improve the deployment process, ensuring high availability, minimal downtime, and robust rollback procedures. •Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality. •Work closely with product managers, engineering teams, and operations to ensure successful and timely releases. •Maintain release schedules and communicate status updates to stakeholders at all levels. •Monitor performance of production releases and ensure post-deployment validation is completed. •Mentor junior team members and enforce best practices in release engineering and configuration management. •Experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, or related roles. •Expertise in Ansible for configuration management and automation. •Strong Shell Scripting skills to build and maintain automated workflows. •Proven experience managing multiple simultaneous releases in complex environments. •Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. •Demonstrated leadership in driving release practices and guiding teams through high-pressure situations. •Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), version control (Git), and issue tracking (e.g., Jira). •Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP) is an asset.
