Role: Head of Software Location: Hybrid (Norfolk HQ 1 day/week) Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 DOE We're working with a growing, forward-thinking business to find an experienced and hands-on manager to lead their technical strategy and development efforts. This is a hybrid role requiring just one day per week in their Norfolk head office. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and sitting on the leadership team, you'll play a key role in shaping the company's technology direction-while continuing to contribute code. The role offers a 60/40 split between hands-on development and leadership responsibilities. You'll manage a skilled team of developers and testers, oversee Azure cloud migration, and ensure the company's systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with best practice. You'll also support cross-functional collaboration and provide technical insight at both strategic and operational levels. What we're looking for: 10 years in software development and 5 years in a technical leadership role Expertise in Microsoft technologies (C#, ASP.NET Web Forms, .NET Core, JavaScript, HTML) Proven experience in Microsoft Azure environments Strong knowledge of infrastructure, cloud solutions, and modern development practices Excellent communication and problem-solving skillsThis is an exciting opportunity to join a stable, ambitious company offering strong benefits, a supportive culture, and the chance to make a lasting impact on their technology landscape.
