Full Stack Engineer - Python

We are looking for a talented and driven Full Stack Engineer with top proficiency in React, Node.js , and serverless technologies (specifically AWS Lambda) to join our dynamic engineering team. Proficient in Python, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, secrets management, S3, EventBridge, and related AWS services. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications. You should have a strong foundation in design principles and possess the ability to work across the full stack, from front-end interfaces to back-end services. Hands-on coding and engineering practices are essential. While healthcare experience is not mandated, it is preferred. However, an eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment is essential. Knowledge of CI/CD (consumer level), Terraform understanding, and maintenance is required. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using Python with serverless architecture and React. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables. Ensure security principles, protocols, and standards (e.g., OWASP, TLS/SSL, encryption) are integrated, including AWS security standards (authorizers, IAM Roles). Lead technical discussions and guide junior developers on best practices and code quality. Participate in code reviews to ensure standards, scalability, and performance are met. Identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and other issues. Stay current with emerging web development technologies and propose improvements. Work with QA to ensure software quality through testing and validation. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues. Manage code deployment till production and respond to scrum queries, handling both new and existing codebases. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of professional full stack web development experience. Proficiency in Python, AWS Lambda, and React.js (including Redux, Hooks). Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON/XML, and web services. Database design and optimization skills (SQL Server/PostgreSQL). Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+, responsive design. Experience with Agile/Scrum and version control systems (Git, SVN). Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and good communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with AWS services such as API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Event Streaming, Kafka, Kinesis. Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Terraform). Ability to write test cases for React and Python, familiarity with testing frameworks (Behave, Cucumber, Jest). Knowledge of security testing tools and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
