NHS Benefits Realisation Manager - Strategic Programmes Location: North West Contract Type: Outside IR35 / Deliverables Duration: 3 Months with view to extend Day Rate: Flexible dependant on experience I am working with an NHS trust in the North West, and they are seeking an experienced interim Benefits Realisation Manager to lead the planning, delivery, and tracking of both financial and non-financial benefits across a portfolio of high-profile strategic digital programmes. This role requires someone who can hit the ground running, bringing deep expertise in benefits realisation to ensure the Trust can measure, manage and maximise the impact of transformational change. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a robust, fit-for-purpose Benefits Realisation Framework across key transformation initiatives. Engage with a wide range of stakeholders across clinical, corporate, and operational areas to identify and validate measurable benefits. Secure alignment and buy-in from staff, providing challenge and support to ensure benefits are realistic, evidenced, and embedded. Lead benefits planning and reporting activities, ensuring data-driven tracking and governance is in place to monitor delivery and outcomes. Proven track record in benefits realisation within large-scale transformation or change programmes, ideally in healthcare or complex public sector environments. Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge constructively and drive delivery across multiple teams. Experience working in interim/contract roles, delivering results within defined timescales and frameworks. Familiarity with programme and project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, Agile). All candidates must be able to work onsite 1-2 days per week
