twentyAI are partnering with a PE-backed Leisure business HQ'ed in Hatfield, Hertfordshire who are looking for a commercially-minded Senior Data Scientist with a knack for building strong relationships, leading impactful projects, and turning business challenges into data-driven opportunities. This is more than a technical role — it’s about leading high-impact projects, building strong stakeholder relationships, and turning business challenges into data-driven decisions. You’ll partner closely with teams across the company, translating complex analysis into clear, actionable insights that drive performance. Objectives Acting as the bridge between data and decision-makers, helping shape business strategy through evidence Leading high-impact, cross-functional analytics projects with end-to-end ownership Turning messy, real-world data into compelling stories and practical outcomes Collaborating with product, marketing, and operations teams to embed data into everyday thinking Influencing how the business scales and evolves their data science capability as they grow Requirements Proven experience in a commercial data science role, ideally leading projects or a small team Strong Python and SQL skills, ideally with Azure tools (Databricks, Data Factory) Excellent communication, especially with non-technical stakeholders A business-first mindset and a passion for solving real-world problems Natural collaboration skills and an appetite to influence
