Scrum Master

Job Title: Scrum Master Department / Function: Business Operations Reports to: H ead of Operations Location: Hybrid (Reading / Remote) KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / ROLE PURPOSE We are looking for a dynamic Scrum Master / Project Manager to join our Business operations function, supporting the delivery of projects across Business Systems, Business Intelligence and ServiceNow teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and can drive structure, focus and delivery across multiple initiatives. You’ll play a key part in enabling our teams to work efficiently while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and in alignment with business goals. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES Act as Scrum Master for agile teams, facilitating stand ups, sprint planning etc and promoting agile best practices. Assist in overseeing and managing project timelines, milestones, resource planning, risks and dependencies across cross-functional teams. Collaborate with Product Owners, Team Leads, and stakeholders to ensure clear requirements, realistic planning and focused delivery. Track and report on progress, escalating risks and blockers early while providing regular updates to senior leadership Maintain and improve project management standards, tools and documentation across all teams. Assist with capacity planning and prioritisation to balance team workloads and business demands. Support alignment between Business Systems (D365), Business Intelligence (Power BI) and ServiceNow Initiatives. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning and open communication within and across teams. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Proven experience as a Scrum Master and / or Project Manager with technical or IT environments Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management principles. Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects or workstreams across different business domains. Ability to adapt between structured project delivery and flexible, iterative approaches depending on team and project needs. Familiarity with platforms such as Dynamics 365, Power BI and ServiceNow is a plus Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
