Software Developer Location: Hybrid, Manchester We’re looking for a Backend focused Developer who enjoys solving problems, building reliable systems, and doesn’t mind learning a new language or tool when the job calls for it. Whether your background is in C#, Java, Python, or something similar, if you're solid with APIs, microservices, and the backend fundamentals, we want to hear from you. What you’ll be doing: Building and maintaining APIs that are clean, well-documented, and easy to work with. Designing and developing microservices that talk to each other without drama. Working on systems that are distributed, scalable, and sometimes a little messy (that’s where you come in). Collaborating with other engineers, product managers, and sometimes even real users. Picking up new tools and tech as needed, we don’t expect you to know everything upfront. What we’re looking for: 2 years of experience in backend development using C#, Java, Python, or similar. Strong understanding of API development and how web services work. Experience working with microservices, or at least a good idea of how they’re built and maintained.
