Blockchain Developer (Web3 / dApps) V7 is supporting a leading client in the IT space who is seeking a Blockchain Developer with deep expertise in building secure, user-focused decentralised applications. This is a fully remote, 3-month rolling contract (outside IR35) focused on developing Web3 infrastructure and smart contract solutions in close collaboration with UX and product teams. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deploy smart contracts for DeFi, NFTs, or tokenized platforms (Solidity, EVM-compatible) Integrate Web3 libraries (e.g. Web3.js, Ethers.js) with frontend dApps and wallet providers Collaborate with UX designers to ensure seamless and intuitive interactions between smart contracts and user interfaces Optimize smart contracts for security, performance, and low gas usage Maintain clear documentation and participate in audits and peer reviews Key Requirements: 3 years of hands-on experience in blockchain development Proven track record with Solidity, Ethereum-based contracts, and dApp development Familiarity with wallet integration patterns (MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.) Understanding of decentralised user flows and Web3 security best practices Experience working in cross-functional teams, especially alongside UX designers and frontend developers Bonus: Knowledge of Layer 2 solutions, The Graph, or decentralised storage (IPFS/Filecoin) What’s on Offer: Fully remote position 3-month rolling contract (strong extension potential) Outside IR35 Competitive day rate ASAP start with weekly Friday payments Please apply via LinkedIn or send your CV directly to cwoods@v7recruitment.com
