Junior Software Developer - AWS | Node.js | React – Starting Salary of £30,000 Location: Remote – with 1 day a month in London Full Time | Flexible Working | Unlimited Annual Leave Are you a Junior Developer with a good foundation in JavaScript and Typescript looking to make your mark on a fast-growing digital platform? WRK digital are delighted to be shortlisting for a Junior Developer to join a small, agile team working on a cutting-edge online digital platform. You’ll help shape and deliver the technical roadmap, scale existing infrastructure, and help drive innovation across our product offering. What You’ll Do Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code under the guidance of senior engineers. Participate in code reviews and receive mentorship from experienced team members. Debug and troubleshoot technical issues in development and production environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Customer Success, Marketing & Design to build and ship new features. Assist in writing and maintaining documentation for internal tools and systems. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and development practices. What We’re Looking For Familiarity with full stack Javascript (Node JS / React) Understanding of fundamental programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms. Basic knowledge of version control systems like Git. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Analytical mindset and creative thinker. A strong growth mindset and willingness to learn. Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal with the ability to interact successfully with team members or occasionally clients by video conferencing and phone as well as face to face, in person. Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies. Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and databases (SQL or NoSQL).
