Software Quality Assurance Engineer Level I

Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer Level I Job Description: We are seeking a full-time Quality Assurance Engineer Level I with 1-3 years of experience in a quality assurance testing role. The successful candidate will support a mission-focused, rapid solutions provider, working with a diverse team of experts in hardware engineering, software development, systems integration, management, and testing. The Software QA Engineer Level I will analyze, troubleshoot, and perform hardware and software testing for military and civil aviation platforms, identify functional issues, and document and report test results clearly and concisely. Duties and Responsibilities: Analyze requirements and write concise test cases to evaluate product functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve complex test scenarios. Execute test cases during testing phases. Record and document defect reports discovered during testing. Apply quality assurance principles in a fast-paced, agile development environment. Communicate test results and status effectively, both verbally and in writing. Follow established QA procedures and processes. Participate in daily stand-up meetings and provide testing status updates. Recommended Skills and Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a quality assurance testing role; relevant work experience will be considered. Problem-solving skills, enthusiasm, curiosity, and self-motivation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of software installation, testing, and hardware configuration. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with a self-directed approach. Proven analytical and technical aptitude. Understanding of software development and testing life cycles. Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple tasks. Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related disciplines. Clearance: Must obtain a Secret clearance level.
