Overview
Working under the direction of the Manager and/or Lead, the Systems Analyst within IT provides operational support, change management, and ongoing maintenance for IT Applications. The role involves supporting assigned applications through analysis, troubleshooting, and ensuring high availability of the environment. The analyst supports the effective use of computing resources and facilitates client workflows. Participation in project initiatives, planning, and collaboration with other Analysts are also key aspects of the role.

Responsibilities
Technological Development
3+ years experience in issue mitigation, including updating, modifying, configuring, and evaluating systems in both production and non-production environments.
Knowledge of healthcare operations, departments, and processes to effectively implement business applications and server changes across healthcare systems.
Ability to perform hardware and system analysis to diagnose issues or identify performance degradation.
Capability to independently create and implement effective solutions.
Experience supporting applications, including drafting, reviewing, and approving change implementations and documentation.
Proficiency with tools and systems used to troubleshoot database and application software in healthcare settings.
Experience with Incident and Change Management processes aligned with ITIL guidelines.
Support for functional specifications, application configuration, maintenance, and issue resolution.
Commitment to ongoing education within the scope of responsibility annually.
Communications
Respond to technical assistance requests following NAH incident and request management guidelines.
Utilize data effectively to support data-driven decision making.
Provide quality status updates to stakeholders via communication tools and service management platforms.
Engage in cross-team communication, mentorship, and vendor relationship management, including adherence to SLAs and project scopes.
Operations
Establish and maintain partnerships with stakeholders and operational owners for support, upgrades, and implementation.
Participate in projects, including tasks and go-live activities, providing post-project support documentation.
Understand hospital system operations to support workflows and solutions effectively.
Operate enterprise hardware and software systems, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and escalate as needed.
Lead small projects and functional requests, managing scope, time, and execution.
Compliance/Safety
Report safety incidents promptly, attend safety training, and monitor work environments for safety issues.
Comply with applicable regulations, statutes, and company policies, maintaining certifications and licenses as required.
Complete mandatory training within designated timeframes.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business, Healthcare Administration, or 5 years of relevant experience.
Certifications: Cerner Fundamentals (required within 6 months), and two professional certifications demonstrating advanced proficiency, including ITIL v3 or higher.
Experience: Minimum 3 years Healthcare IT Analyst experience, with expertise in system implementations, upgrades, maintenance, process improvement, project planning, and healthcare applications like EMR or ERP. Experience leading small projects is also required.
